Hard to believe it is mid-January and we are just now getting to holiday posts BUT we have had so much fun the last month that we haven't had much time to blog!

Breakfast with Santa was awesome! He shows up on a Fire Truck - how cool is that and we had the front table - Reese was not so happy about him but I loved it! We also rode the Pink Pig and Reese didn't like it so Mom and I got to ride it THREE times!

Here are the highlights:
- Mommy as the mystery reader on the same day I had snack for my birthday and got to bring in cookie cake for snack.
- A ROARING birthday cake - The dinosaur on the top of my cake Roars - it is light sensored. Can you you believe I had a cake that roared
- Monkey Joes with all of my friends - I had a great time jumping, running and playing with all of my friends
- More Imaginex! Hard to believe I don't have of all it!
- Letting Reese help me open my presents - she is getting really good at this and it was lots of fun to have her help me
- My first legos - They are super cool and make awesome cars and Batman car

Elfie Games

Elfie has been having lots of fun and now we have two - Reese now has George (Mommy has tried to rename her Georgia since she now has a skirt but we call her George!) George came home with us from Pottery Barn Kids while Daddy waited in the 2 hour line for the Pink Pig - which I loved and Reese did not - but I got to ride three times. The elves have so much fun together and we never know where we will find them!

Sunday we also got to have chocolate chip pancakes after mass - what a great Holiday day!

We had an interesting Thanksgiving that continued the last two weeks! Lots of sickness but we are finally all better. We did have a good Turkey Day complete with a masterpiece center piece made by Mommy and I, a Thankful tree and hats for everyone!

I might have found my future profession at Emma's birthday - a dentist! We had the best time at her party and at the beach house! It was awesome. I got to pick up shells on the beach - although a bit cold, go to a fun garden for some pictures - a bit colder and then EC's birthday which I spent most of the time brushing the dino's teeth! It was great!

We got to go to the book store and get a book and I got a Curious George, I also got a new leaf blower, lots of cloths - did I mention that it is Reese's birthday weekend :) We had so much fun!!! Of course birthday bear was there for all of the action! and I got to decorate for Halloween all in the same weekend - treats, Halloween, presents - what fun!

We went apple picking this weekend and had so much fun. I am loving my second season of soccer. My team is the Cheetahs but I call them the Hornets - my team from last year :) I am really liking it and have become a strategist on the team - this week I spent a little more time talking with some of my buddies about getting the ball from the other team versus actually trying to get it - thank goodness Josh was having a great game.

Gardner in the City

I have been very busy this summer with my first garden and it was a HUGE success! We were very successful with three kinds of tomatoes, green peppers - which Reese and I like to snack on, and sweet potatoes. We also had a few great zucchinis, few great carrots, one eggplant and some "fresh" radishes. (Mommy note: The radishes didn't produce so Mommy helped the garden out with some from Fresh Market and planted our "fresh" radishes :)

I can't wait to see what we plant next!

Back to School

We are fully in back to school mode! I have been back for two weeks. I really like my new teachers and have lots of friends from last year and the year before. I have settled right in. I have the coolest backpack - EVER!!!

As I start a new year I thought I would share with you some of the things I learned over the summer.

Thoughts on fishing...
You fish until you catch something - just like my Sa-sa would have said :)
Do you use a big boy fishing rod or a cane pole?
I caught a fish but it wasn't 15" so I have to put it back
Fishing is fun because you can catch fish and fun when you throw them back into the water and fun when you take a little rest and fun when you stop for lemon aid.
Sometimes I say Oh Buggers when I am fishing - Just like my Gigi - she said it every time we didn't catch something

Thoughts on Reese:
Reese makes my ears hurt
I am teaching her to say yes sir to me
Reese is distracting me - I can't eat dinner

Other thoughts:
Does Heaven have Starbucks....well for Mommy's sake I hope so :)

Sending Summer Out on A High Note!

We had an awesome end to summer. A long weekend with Mommy, Daddy and Reese in Hilton Head!

We spent a ton of time on the beach - I loved it! I got a boogie board and loved riding the waves and having it push me under the waves. We built sand castles and towers - one even taller than me! Reese of course liked to knock them down - I did too when I was a baby like her :)

We also had our own private dolphin show most days! There were about 8 of them right out from where we were and they liked to play and splash and have fun!

We were right around the corner from Salty Dog so we got to stay up late, dance to the musician, eat ice cream, see magic shows and hear a guy sing at Harbor Town! Let's just say we had a blast and broke all of Mommy's bedtime rules :) But we knew it was going to end and then we come home and everything went "back to normal"

We had a playdate at Dunwoody Country Club, went to a fun party at Wynter Park and then had a playdate with Gunnar and Parker. It was a great weekend! Summer of Firsts

Although only 4 1/2 I have a few years of jet ski driving under my belt and have gotten very good at it. I like to drive - with Mommy or Daddy's hands on top - and go in circles over and over again to create waves and then jump then. I like to make the circle smaller and smaller so the waves get bigger and bigger and then I go really fast. Mommy said I am very good driver :) Just wait till I can drive Reese on it!

I have become a very good fisherman and crabber. I had a lot of fun at Memorial Day fishing with Gramps. I even got to go on my first fishing trip on the boat - but we didn't catch anything but I have been told that happens sometimes when you are fishing. All in all we had a great trip and looking forward to heading back on Friday!

We have been busy having fun so we are a bit behind but catching up. After Sunshine Days for the last day of school we had planned a Slip, Slide and Sundae party for all of my friends from school but a random cool snap got in the way so we had fun including playing on the swing set, eating ice cream sundaes and playing with water guns! It did warm up at the end. It was a great way to end the school year with all my friends.

I love a good festival. We celebrated Mother's Day weekend at the Dunwoody Arts Festival. They had a great group of jumpies and a HUGE shark slide. We had an awesome Easter - well minus that stomach virus I had that kept us home - but still it ended up great! The Easter Bunny had 2 Easter Egg hunts for us - one inside and one outside. He even left us notes and prizes from Nana and Pop and GiGi and Gramps.

I got candy, some money, shirts and chocolate peeps and my very own Super Carter cape, utility arm bands and a mask and Reese and I got a sand and water table! I also got a ginormous chocolate bunny! I even told Mommy on Sunday that letting me having that chocolate peep kicked the stomach yukies out of me!

or not :) So far I only had one Saturday playball (soceer). We had Spring break and this week the field was too wet - not even my new cleats could soak up all the water. However our first try at Playball did not go well. I threw a fit getting ready, a fit when we got there and then sat on the bench. I did get off a little bit and play with my friend Harrison (a new Harrison) he wasn't in too it much either. But I think my team did beat the red team. Our team name is the Hornets! Mommy and I have been talking and I think I am going to do better next week (There are prizes if I do) Here are my friends in action (they are in gold) and me on the bench.

Fun with GiGi and Gramps

We had a great time with GiGi and Gramps last weekend. Daddy was at SXSW for work in Austin, Texas and Mommy had her Junior League race so I was in charge with Gramps and GiGi.

Here are some highlights:

- Gunnar and Parker came over for a playdate on Saturday - Aunt Jess was also doing race stuff - we made cookies with GiGi - We each got to put our own scoop on the cookie sheet and then we each got to decorate our own cookie - YUM YUM

- GiGi and Mommy went to do some shopping while Reese was napping which left Gramps and I time to watch!! Well I think Gramps napped but I got to watch my favorites!

- Tractor Time - We had great weather so we spent lots of time on my John Deeres! Gramps even helped Reese drive my tractor - but he kept pushing the pedal with his hand so she wanted to push with her hand too - silly girl :)

All in all we had a great time!

I love my John Deere's but it is hard work to keep a fleet of them in working order! I like to ride both of them all the time. I use them to help clean up the yard with Mommy and Daddy and haul all kinds of things around the yard. My favorite is to ride them in a BIG circle around the front and the back yard. So as you probably know I love parties and holidays! This past weekend we celebrated stuffed animal shark's birthday - we even made him cup cakes - Easter themed ones. Here is me singing happy birthday to him and enjoying his cake - he loved it too!

We have been so busy with Nana's visit while Mommy and Daddy were in Spain and then we have had an amazing few weeks of weather - It is like Spring! Here are some pictures of how we have been spending as much time as possible! We have so many fun updates - we will be back on our regular update schedule.

Here are some highlights from our visit with Nana

Puppet Show with Nana - As usual we took Nana with us to a puppet show - of course she loved it as much as I did ;)

Movie Nights - We had great movie nights - we watched The Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast - it is my new favorite night time activity although it is a special treat.

Valentine's Day with Nana - We got to celebrate Valentine's Day with Nana which was fun. Reese and I also went to a fun Valentine's Day brunch with J! My school party was very fun and I got lots of fun cards from my friends.

Playdates with Gunnar - I had two playdates with Gunnar. I went to Gunnar's and then we went to the park. Lots and lots of fun. We are best buddies.

Gchat video - We got to see and talk with Mommy and Daddy on J's computer which was awesome. I got to tell them all about the fun things going on.

Presents from Mommy and Daddy - They came home with a super cool new dragon puppet and a soccer jersey. Reese adn I were VERY glad to see them home.

John Deer Derby

The wheels on the John Deers go round and round, round and round, and round. Cole and I went around and around the yard -- all day long! It was the first of many John Deer Derbys in our front and back yard. Sissy really wants to get on the gator so she screamed as we went around and Mommy and Reese even had to help Cole and I up the hill on the side of the house. It was so much fun!

A Taste of Spring

We got a little taste of spring last weekend and it was great! We got to play on the gator, on my playset and at the park! I had lots of playdates too - Baby Vivi came over with her mommy and daddy, Cole came over to play and for John Deer Derby and Sadie and Baby Hudson came over as well. We enjoyed every minute. I asked mommy if we could tie a rope around winter and throw it away - no such luck but the Groundhog didn't see his shadow so hopefully spring is on the way.

A last birthday celebration!

So birthday got to last until after the snow storm. On Friday, January 21 I got my hepipcotper (helicopter) from Aunt Sandra and Uncle Richie and the UPS truck got stuck on the hill! Then I got to be line leader and snack leader the next Monday at school :)

Sleep Over for One!

I have had a great weekend in the almost spring weather. I have been enjoying my own sleepovers - I sleep on my sleeping bag in the floor - I really like it. Tonight is my second sleep over night for one!

I am also a DRY little man now. I sleep in boxers just like Daddy and he sleeps dry and so do I :)

Back to Normal

Life has gotten back to normal - well almost. I went back to school today which was fun and got two more birthday presents - Birthday week - who needs that - I get to be snack leader on Friday at school so until then Carter month continues! Here is a picture of Daddy and I enjoying my new hepipoter (helicopter) from Aunt Sandra and Uncle Richie - I think Daddy plays with it when I am asleep :)
